A week or two ago, Phil & I decided to go to Steveston for brunch. Randomly we saw this little waffle joint on the side and decided to switch up our brunch idea for some waffles. Their sign is not massive so its easily missed. They have reserved spots right in front for specifically their customers only. Lucky enough, there were spots available. When we got there, we were the only customers. Their interior was very bright and their color choices are very bold. They’ve got bright yellow walls on one side and bright orange on the other. Their choice of wall paintings/art were very unique as well. Right when you step foot into this place, it smells AMAZING. They have several choices of flavour to choose from.

I ordered the Caramel Waffle ($2.75) & Apple Waffle ($3.50). Phil ordered the Maple Waffle ($2.75) & Cinnamon Waffle ($2.75). Their waffles aren’t huge so the amount you pay for is quite a bit for one waffle. Even though the prices added up, I thought their waffles were amazing. I’m a huge caramel fan, but the caramel waffle was lacking flavour. Only if it had more caramel in it. For my second choice, the apple waffle, that was amazing. Lots of flavour and it was delicious! Phil thought both his waffles were delicious and will definitely come back for more!
The service here was very friendly and helpful. The owner was very patient in terms of us ordering. We were taking a while to decide which ones we wanted because it was our first time there. I ordered a coffee and Phil ordered their Belgian Hot Chocolate. The owner came over and offered me sugar for my coffee, which i thought was a nice gesture. Considering the sugar was right on the side and was easy access for me to get it myself. The Belgian Hot Chocolate was very hot, so Phil had to wait a while before drinking it. He thought the hot chocolate was good!
They also sell boxes of waffles. Similar to Tim hortons, where you choose the flavour you like in your box. I think this is a great alternative from donuts.
