Tin Tin Seafood Restaurant

Hey everyone,

Our family loves going to Dim sum during weekends because we designate that time for family time. Last weekend was Moon Cake Festival so booking a table for Dim Sum last minute was probably not the best idea. I had to call up several places until I came across Tin Tin Seafood Restaurant and they had tables available. When we got there, surprisingly we found parking. They have their own parking lot but its not the biggest. When we walked in, it wasn’t as busy as we thought it’ll be, which was somewhat good, because we were starving.

The interior was very spacious and bright. I thought their ceiling design was very unique.

First off, we got the Fried Rice with Mix Meat ($18.80). Not exactly sure whether thats the correct name of calling it because I’m just basing the name off our receipt. In chinese its called, Fook Chau Chow Fan. Hopefully that helps some of you. This dish was very good. There was a perfect balance between the sauce and the other components with the rice.

Every single time when we go to a Dim Sum place, we always get the Steam Shrimp Dumplings ($5.50).

Steam Spareribs ($5.20)

Deep Fried Taro Dumpling ($5.50). We were really surprised they had this on the menu, because this is by far Phil’s fave dish but it was always a struggle to find this at Dim Sum restaurants.

Deep Fried Shrimp Spring Rolls ($5.50). The exterior was crunchy and the shrimp was juicy and big! Great shrimp roll!

Steamed Shao Mai Dumpling ($5.50)

Pan-fried Prawns & Chives ($5.75)

Pan-Fried Radish Cake ($5.20)

Fish Puree Roll ($5.75)

Steam Beef Balls ($5.20)

Tea costs separate ($7.50) for 6 people

Service: 2/5
We were really disappointed with the service because we were trying to get the waiters/managers attention several times but they never pay attention to our needs. Considering it wasn’t that busy, I expected service to be a lot better. So we were highly disappointed in terms of the speed of our service.

Food: 4/5
Food overall was good & I had no complaints. My fave dish out of all the dishes above was the deep fried shrimp rolls. They are much thicker than the ones you get at other dim sum places.

Price: $-$$

Overall Rating: 3/5

Enjoy!
